The Coasters occupy a special niche in the music field. Nothing is more difficult to achieve than a longterm mcareer in the record business by being funny but The Coasters have been justly labeled, “The Clown Princes of Rock n Roll.” For over 50 years, The Coasters are still going strong with the same style and quality of the original group. Since 1958 they’ve had hit after hit with “Yakety Yak,” “Charlie Brown,” “Poison Ivy” and “Love Potion Number 9” just to name a few. They continue to do what they do best, entertain their audiences. |
