Jamila hails from Kalamazoo, Michigan, where at the tender age of 14, she began competing and winning State and National Vocal competitions taking supreme honors. Her love for Broadway show tunes soon led her to Disney’s first ever production of “Aladdin, A Musical Spectacular” where she shined as a narrator. Still pursuing greater exposure, Jamila was hired as the newest member of the legendary and world-renowned group “The 5th Dimension”. Currently she is traveling all over the world as one of the most favored headliner acts performing for such Cruise Liners as Celebrity, Azamara and Princess just to name a few.
