Natalie Jackson is originally from northern New Jersey. With a classical background in piano, she began honing her vocal style under the late
Dr. Aaron Bell, bassist and arranger to Duke Ellington and her orchestra as well as many other prominent jazz figures. She includes among her influences Marilyn McCoo and Dionne Warwick. Her interpretations are described as soulful and inspiring. Natalie sings in a style that is both sophisticated and warm and believes that “every song is a story to be told.”
